Sean Kane is an illustrator and artist in Guelph, Ontario with a most unusual artform. Sean hand paints artwork of famous major league players on well-worn baseball gloves.

Originally from Chicago, Sean has loved the game since a small boy and his passion for the game as resulted in this interesting and creative art form.

Sean sources gloves, researches famous players and creates portraits of players for major league teams and gifts for collectors and aficionados of the game. These images are creative and time consuming. Sean paints up to  16 gloves a year and each glove can take up to 160 hours to produce. 

Sean’s gloves can be found in the American Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York and the Canadian Baseball Museum in St. Mary’s Ontario among other places in Canada and the USA
